Fantastical Feasts is a concept art and world-building project focused on exploring a world filled with monsters and chefs. The story follows a budding chef struggling to get her career off the ground when she overhears a golden opportunity: Using monster resources for meals.
These are the main cast of characters exploring this project’s world. Sierra, her sister Joelyn and their friend Caz are a group of intrepid entrepreneurs with great skill at what they do and nothing to show for it yet.
Sierra is the head chef and the main reason their journey begins, Joelyn is her sister and a master of Management, and Caz is a hunter and an expert in the field.
The Grillion is a Salmon-Boar-like creature that provides fatty red/ fish meat. Found commonly in the plains above the sea-faring human town, Grillion can create a wide variety of meals for any skilled chef’s menu.
Astrologian is an Illustration exploring the design of my Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) character, Treya, in her Astrologian outfit. She is wearing a cozy night robe and floating in front of a moon, surrounded by tarot cards with sigils surrounding the scene behind her. This piece uses textured brushes and stylized shapes to accomplish the desired look.
Cloud Strife is a fan art illustration depicting the Final Fantasy VII protagonist of the same name. This piece was done to explore dramatic lighting schemes and a new style of work. It is also a companion piece to Sephiroth.
Sephiroth is a fan art illustration depicting the Final Fantasy VII Antagonist of the same name. This piece was done to explore dramatic lighting schemes and a new style of work. It is also a companion piece to Cloud Strife.
Snow Maiden is an Illustration depicting an Au Ra woman from Final Fantasy XIV wearing a white dress, covered in black scales, with her white hair wrapped up.
Her dress is decorated with flowers and tassels, and the background is rendered to mimic a traditional painting, with a hidden face painted in shadow on the wall.
The Depths is a worldbuilding comic project first explored through the lens of visual development for Kelsey Roland’s Blender for Visual Development course with Warrior Boot Camp.
The story follows a man who has fallen into an ancient subterranean civilization and his escapades as he works to find his way out.
Bleeding Hearts is an illustration done on commission for an Indie visual novel of the same name. This piece was done to be used as the title screen of the game and was accomplished with a mix of 3D and 2D.
